About
On paper, Scot Reynolds is not the person who writes this kind of book. That's the point of it.
He grew up in rural Pennsylvania and went to a public school with ten kids in his graduating class. He spent half of every senior day in a metalworking course learning machining and welding, finished his homework on the hour-long bus ride, and completed Army basic training between his junior and senior years. He graduated fifth.
His first attempt at community college ended with him failing the minimum English requirement, getting dropped into remedial English, and failing that too. The bachelor's degree came later, online, worked around a full-time job, after two overseas deployments showed him that the people leading him had cleared a bar he could clear as well.
Along the way he mowed lawns, failed at selling long-distance phone service, worked a telemarketing floor, ran a DJ business on Friday and Saturday nights on top of a day job, lost a job and nearly everything with it, and lost ten thousand dollars in savings on an options trade he understood at the vocabulary level. He kept going. He now owns rental property, narrates audiobooks, sells educational printables, and runs Reynolds Communications LLC, the small press that published his first book.
He still punches a clock. Nothing in the book asks the reader to do something the author hasn't done on the same kind of hours.
He lives in Coudersport, Pennsylvania.

Own Your Day, Own Your Billion-Dollar Life
The Shortcuts Do Not Exist
A get-rich process, and slow is the only speed anyone can honestly sell you. Twenty-five short chapters for people working a job with a schedule instead of a career with a ladder, each built the same way: one thing that happened, and what it cost to learn.
The free workbook
Thirteen worksheets that turn the chapters into something you fill in with a pen, plus a weekly review page. Free, before you buy anything.
